Mini 3D Christmas Tree Card

A very quick and cute DIY to give custom cards for Christmas this year. All you need is some cardstock , paints, glue and scissors.

Materials:

  1. Cardstock (plain green for the tree, colored or printed for the card base)
  2. Scissors and glue
  3. Acrylic paints in festive colors
  4. Optional: Gemstone stickers and other embellishments

Process:

  1. Fold your base cardstock to form a card with the design on the outside ( I used a printed green base for my card).
  2. Cut out 1 inch thick strips of the green cardstock in increasing lengths from 1.5″ to 5″. At the middle of each strip, fold the edges inward in a triangle shape towards the middle.
  3. Starting from the smallest strip, glue the center of each one below the other to form a tree shape.
  4. Add embellishments, stickers, glitter and more to jazz it up.
  5. Don’t forget to write a message on the inside.
